High Chicago nominated for Best Novel!
Apr 23, 2010
My second Jonah Geller mystery, High Chicago, has been nominated for the Arthur Ellis Award for Best Novel of 2009. The shortlists were announced April 22 by the Crime Writers of Canada.
Winning the Arthur Ellis for Best First Novel last year was a great thrill; being nominated for best novel one year later is equally exciting. Forty-eight books were eligible, so just to make the final five is an honour in itself.
The winners will be announced May 27, which happens to be my son Aaron’s 13th birthday, so I’m hoping that brings me luck.
